The name Valmaggiore is an approved additional geographical mention (Cru) of the appellation Roero. Audinaggio comes from from the Piemontese word “Autinagia” which translates as "small plot of land" and refers to a tiny single vineyard plot the estate uses to produce this unique Roero.
