Campanelli (IN PROGRESS)

The Campanelli winery makes the link with its territory and local tradition its most important cornerstone. It is located in Marche, in San Paolo di Jesi, within the wine-growing area of the Castelli di Jesi appellation.

This young and tiny winery was born from the passion for the land and the wine of Francesco Campanelli, who wanted to bring out his own vision of the area by highlighting the many expressions that the Verdicchio variety can take on in the area of Castelli di Jesi. In fact, within this wine-growing area there are countless crus, identified by geographical appellations such as Palombare, San Michele, San Nicolò and Cerrete, plots where Campanelli owns their vineyards. Francesco’s intention is to vinify the grapes coming from these plots separately and in different ways, to enhance the particular characteristics of each different vineyard.

In addition to the Verdicchio, the main grape of the Castelli di Jesi, in Campanelli’s plots there are also varieties such as Trebbiano, Malvasia, Montepulciano and Canaiolo Nero.

All vines are grown according to organic farming principles and the harvest is carried out entirely by hand.
