Tasting Notes:
Appellation: Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi D.O.C. Classico Superiore. Type: White, dry wine. Varietal: 100% Verdicchio Color: Straw yellow with golden reflections. Bouquet: Intense notes of elderberry and grass, with hints of almond and lemon and mineral memories. Taste: On the palate pleasantly savory, fresh and with moderate creaminess and body. Alcohol: 14.5% (varies with vintage). Serving temperature: 12/14° C (54-57º F) .  

Vinyard Notes:
Vineyard: San Michele, in the municipality of Cupramontana. Elevation: Between 315 and 290 meters. Vine age: Planted in 1984. HA: 1,2. Exposure: NORTH – EAST. Soil: Medium with predominance of clay and limestone and rests on a subsoil of marls and sandstones. Microclimate: From the hills of Cupramontana, the vineyard faces directly to the Adriatic Sea, which on clear days is well visible and conditions the local microclimate, Mediterranean with high maximum temperatures (it is one of the hottest areas of the area of the Castles of Jesi) but also good thermal range and constant ventilation.

Winemaking Notes:
Harvest: Hand-picked in boxes. Vinification: Soft pressing of the whole bunches with extraction of the flower must only, static decantation, fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Aging: With yeasts in cement with frequent batonnage for 7 months and then at least 9 months in bottle.
