Cattarrato Lucido

Grown on the ancient limestone hillsides of Chiaramonte Gulfi, where cool mountain air tempers the Sicilian sun,  Catarratto Bianco Lucido wine is bright, savory, and alive. Named lucido, or “shining” one, named for the polished gleam of its grape skins, Cataratto Lucido is the the finer, more aromatic biotype of Sicily’s most widely planted white grape, features ripe citrus and stone fruit on the nose, a fresh mineral lift on the finish — think green almond, thyme, and wet rocks — the unmistakable signature of Sicily’s rocky, sun-baked terroir.
