Vinyard Notes:
Vineyard: Located in the district of Palombare in Sasso di Serra San Quirico. Elevation: Between 370 and 330 meters. Vine age: Planted in 1955 with an extension carried out in 1991. Varieties of the vineyard: The vines planted are 90% old clones of Verdicchio and for the remaining 10% a mix of Trebbiano and Malvasia, with some plants also from Montepulciano. Exposure: EAST-SOUTH/EAST. Soil: Medium mixture composed of clay and limestone, with presence of sandy interlayers. Microclimate: We are in one of the westernmost areas of the DOC and this implies a minor marine influence that, together with the proximity of the Apennine chain and altitude, gives this area strong thermal excursions, determinants of the aromatic development of grapes.

Harvest: Hand-picked in boxes. Vinification: Soft pressing of the whole bunches with extraction of the flower must only, static decantation, fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Aging: With yeasts in cement with frequent batônnage for 7 months and then at least 9 months in bottle.
