Bolgheri Rosso “Ferruggini”
Named for the very hill where its grapes grow, Ferruggini is Chiappini at its most vibrant. Sangiovese takes the lead here — a nod to Tuscan tradition — joined by Cabernet Sauvignon and a splash of Syrah, sourced from three parcels planted between 1984 and 2001 along the storied Via Bolgherese.
This is a wine built for immediacy: fermented and matured naturally in steel to preserve every ounce of freshness and aromatic lift. In the glass, expect plum, rose petal, and cinnamon, with a kick of blood orange and a whisper of leather beneath the fruit. It’s lively, vinous, and unmistakably food-ready — the kind of red you pour without ceremony and drink while the fruit is still singing.
